SHEEP ARE NOT DUMB A Lesson from the Animal God Chose to Represent His Church

Have you ever wondered why out of all the animals the Lord could have chosen to represent His church, that He chose sheep? There is a reason. As a student of the Bible, one of the most important truths you need to understand is that everything in the Bible means something. If it is in the Bible, it is in the Bible for a reason. Nothing is by chance or vain filler. That said, God’s numerous references of sheep as representing His people must have a significant purpose, and it does. Sheep have certain characteristics that no other animal has. That is because everything about sheep, from their needs to their strengths, line up perfectly with those of the church.
